What is a Portable Air Cleaner?
A portable air cleaner is an air filtration unit that removes particulate, fumes, and bacteria, and does not produce a negative working environment as a by-product of its operation. While portable units come in large and small sizes, and are meant to be used in specific areas of a building, their effectiveness is more dependent of the filters that are used (such as HEPA).

Where should you place your portable air cleaner?
The portable air cleaner should be placed in the room so that the air intake and outflow are not blocked by furniture, curtains, or room corners. While these air cleaning units work best when placed in a central spot, it is recommended to follow the manufacturer's instructions on placement and operation. In addition, some portable air cleaners are designed for tabletops, while others may be designed for the floor.
